WCSC Recreational League began a pilot Fall Select program in July with three teams U10G, U10B, and U12G. All three teams were successful in earning a third place, a second place, and a tie for a first place finish, in their respective leagues. They went a combined 22 wins, only 4 losses, and 3 ties with a whopping 109 goals scored for and just 31 goals scored against. Also the U12G team took first place in a tournament.

More importantly, the 34 players on these teams now have developed new skills and the experiences of traveling teams that play against other clubs. These 34 Select players also currently play for our WCSC Recreational teams, where they bring back a higher level of soccer to share with their teammates. Additionally, WCSC has now established the Fall Select Program for 2016. The goal is to fill the needs of families and children who are ready for higher level of soccer during the Fall season.

The Fall Select program is similar to the Winter Select program in where players tryout for their respective age group to form the Select teams (All Stars of the Recreational/House league). For more information on both programs please click here.
