WCSC’s 06 Blue Boys were the Champions of the U11 Gold Bracket of the Santa Cruz Breakers Cup this weekend.  The boys played hard with exceptionally strong passing and secured 3 wins in their first 3 games of the tournament. Their final championship game was to be played against Davis Legacy Red, a team they had lost to in a previous tournament.  Despite strong effort, the boys found themselves down 1-2.  The challenges continued after a successful PK from the opponent, putting the game at a 2 point deficit.  In spite of a difficult situation, the boys rallied and united, with passion and intensity they quickly scored two goals tying the game. The game went to PKs.  The boys won in a 5-4 shoot out on the sixth shooter.  Congratulations to Coach Paul Curtis, Coach Tito and the 06 Blue Boys!
