2016 Solano College Women’s Soccer finished the 2016 season with an overall record of 12-6-1 and a Bay Valley Conference record of 10-1-1, 2nd place in conference. Solano finished 12-2-1 in its last 15 games of the season that included a 1-0 win over Fresno City College who at the time was # 1 in the state. That was the first time Solano College had beaten Fresno City in the 15 year history of the program.
Solano recognized its 6 Sophomores on Sophomore Day; Cindy Rodriguez (Armijo), Annalissa Pena (Rodriguez), Juliet Ramirez (Rodriguez), Heather Walsh (Vanden), Sophia Ordonez (Vacaville), Lauryn Williams (Armijo).
Freshman forward Kailyn Herrera set the Solano single season record for goals scored finishing with 30 and for total points with 69, 30 goals and 9 assists in only 19 games played. Kailyn finished 3rd in the state with 30 goals and 2ndin the state with 69 points.
Sophomore forward Juliet Ramirez finished 2nd in the state with 17 assists. Juliet Ramirez also finished the season with 14 goals, giving her 14 goals and 17 assists on the season. Sophomore midfielder Annalissa Pena finished the season 5th in the state in assists with 14 goals and 14 assists.
Solano was 1st in Northern California and 2nd in the state in goals scored with 92.
