After going 9-0 in Winter Select league games, Avalanche began rolling in the EOS tournament too, until facing Davis Tornadoes in a 1-1 draw.  Both teams qualified for Sunday’s Semi’s and won their 1st Sunday games handily (also vs an all-Davis field).  A perfect championship game ensued that came down to double-overtime … then kicks from the mark!  All the coaches, parents, friends, etc going nuts in pure positive support.  WC Avalanche prevailed on the 4th kick to win the Championship!  Walnut Creek also earned qualification to the Western Sates Championship in Carson City, Nevada … but deferred the offer to Davis Tornadoes.  It was a tremendous weekend of sportsmanship and life lessons!  You make WCSC proud! Way to go girls!!!
