2019/2020 Competitive Season Tryout Schedule and Registration - NOW OPEN

Walnut Creek Surf Soccer Club Competitive teams are formed based on players' birth year (different from Recreational that goes by school calendar age).  ALL PLAYERS MUST register online prior to tryouts in order to participate. Your registration will also keep you on the email list for updates to tryout changes (times, locations, weather cancellations, etc).

All tryouts are at Arbolado Park upper soccer fields, Walnut Creek.

Players MUST attend at least 1 of the 2 tryout sessions to be considered for a team selection. It is strongly recommended that players attend both sessions.

Players MUST tryout in their own age group.  Play up age group requests will not be considered at tryouts.  Play up requests should be directed to our club Director of Coaching.

Tryout registration is required and at no cost.  

Team formation and offers are made following tryout sessions and by age group team order(ex. 1st team Blue, 2nd team White, etc.)

Players offered a roster spot have 24 hours to confirm receipt and complete registration process.

U8 Academy Player Evaluations (birth year 2013 & 2012) will be on Tuesday, April 23rd and Thursday, April 25th at 4:00pm to 5:00pm at Arbolado.  There is not a tryout, rather a player evaluation and registration not required.

Club knows the week of April 22nd is spring break for many community schools but given the NorCal Premier tryout window schedule, we must schedule tryouts as listed.  Players unable to attend one or more tryouts during the April 22nd week should inform club Director of Coaching via email at adam@wcsc.org AND still register for tryouts.  Age group training sessions have also been added to allow more time for players in all age groups to further assist our training staff with evaluations.
